Each item is made-to-order when you purchase it, which means zero waste and a piece created specifically for you.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship within the United States. We offer free shipping on all U.S. orders.
International Shipping: Not available at this time. If you're located outside the U.S. and interested in our products, please email us at yuma@theyumaproject.com and we'll see if we can accommodate your request on a case-by-case basis.
Order Tracking
You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. Use this tracking number to monitor your package's delivery status.
Rush Orders
If you need your order by a specific date for an event or time-sensitive situation, please email us at yuma@theyumaproject.com as soon as possible. We'll do our best to prioritize your order, but we cannot guarantee expedited delivery.
Missing or Damaged Shipments
Missing Items: If part of your order is missing, contact us immediately at yuma@theyumaproject.com with your order number and details about what's missing.
Lost Packages: If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it, please wait 24-48 hours (sometimes carriers mark packages as delivered early). If it still hasn't arrived, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve the issue.
Return & Exchange Policy
Return Window
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed items in original condition with all tags attached.

Receive Store Credit: Once we receive and inspect your return (within 3-5 business days), we'll issue store credit to your account
Important: We issue store credit, not refunds, for all standard returns.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns. We are not responsible for items lost in return transit.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, misprinted, defective, or doesn't match what you ordered:

We'll replace it at no cost to you - you won't pay for return shipping or replacement shipping
We stand behind the quality of our products. If there's a genuine issue with your order, we'll make it right.
Wrong Size or Fit Issues
Before Ordering: Please carefully review our size charts on each product page. Our sizing is accurate and our items are designed with a relaxed, comfortable fit.
After Ordering: If you receive an item and it doesn't fit, you may return it within 14 days for store credit following our standard return process above. You'll be responsible for return shipping costs.

Refund Policy
Standard Returns
We issue store credit only for standard returns. Store credit can be used on any future purchase and never expires.
Defective or Incorrect Items
For items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will replace the item at no cost. If you prefer a refund instead of replacement, please let us know and we'll process it to your original payment method.
Refund Processing Time
If a refund is issued, it will be processed within 5-7 business days after we receive and inspect your return. Please allow an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Order Modifications & Cancellations
Before Order Ships
If you need to modify or cancel your order, contact us immediately at yuma@theyumaproject.com. If your order hasn't entered production yet, we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
After Order Ships
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be modified or cancelled. You'll need to follow our standard return process once you receive the item.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier but reported as lost or stolen.
If your tracking information shows your package was delivered but you didn't receive it:

Check with neighbors or household members

Look around your delivery location (sometimes carriers leave packages in unexpected spots)

Wait 24-48 hours - carriers sometimes mark packages delivered before actual delivery

Contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking number

We recommend selecting a secure delivery location or requiring a signature for delivery if you're concerned about package theft in your area.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different size or item:

Return your original item for store credit (following our return policy)

Place a new order for the item you want
This ensures you get your new item as quickly as possible rather than waiting for us to receive your return first.
Gift Returns
Items purchased as gifts can be returned for store credit following our standard return policy. The store credit will be issued to the original purchaser's account.
If you received an item as a gift and would like to return it, please have the gift giver contact us with the original order information.
