This design was born from my father's stories of children playing in the rubble - stories that are still being repeated to this day, something we have to fix. He always said they can take whatever they want from you, except your education and your smile. The yellow smiley face takes the shape of historic Palestine because sometimes the most powerful resistance is our ability to find light in the darkness.
