Doing more. this isnt to shame anyone. and its not meant as a brag. as a palestinian american, i have to do more. i think we all do. it seems a lot of people have the thought that someone else will do it. and this message isnt for everyone, if your already doing this then congrats! i salute you.  this message  is for people like me, who were not necessarily doing what they are capable of. I think a lot of people have found them selves being a little complacent.wake up and do 1 percent, or 5. what ever youre actually capable of. and only you can truly answer that.

YUMA can be heard in every Palestinian or Arab home when a mother calls for her child, or a child calls for their mother. It  also represents us Yusuf and Marriam, and the combination of our first names.

Yusuf, a son of a Palestinian refugee, whose artistic talents and gifts in design and media are the foundation of our brand’s ethos and designs.

Marriam, daughter of Egyptian immigrants, raised among the largest diaspora Palestinian community in the US, Chicago, working in corporate marketing.

They had a meet cute and began dreaming of a brand that elevated protest wear for Palestine and quiet luxury streetwear. They wanted to be able to protest and love what they wore and well the rest is as they say history
